I had just made it to Cam's party as the festivities were beginning. Oh my gosh-2 full kindergarten rooms (over 55 kindergarteners) There were a ton of little people all over the place. It was chaos-sort of controlled chaos but chaos nonetheless. They had 6 different centers-mostly centering around some sort of a liquid-thank goodness we were outdoors. There was a jump rope game where as you tried to jump rope, you had to hold a cup of water over your head and not have it spill on you. Not one of Cam's best games. There was also a bubble center to see who could make the biggest bubbles. Another center was a relay race where you had to soak a sponge and pass it to your teammates and then squeeze it out into a bucket and whatever team has the most water in his bucket, wins the race-Cam's team won!! Another one was to put a bunch of bouncy balls in the huge parachute and try to keep the balls from coming out-I think the kids goal was to make all the balls come out-I must have chased 12 into the street after they went over the fence. The 5th one was another relay one but they had to hold a tin cup with holes in it over their head and try to make it across the way to put the rest of the water in the bucket-it was a tie. So many kids were slipping and sliding on the grass from all of the water spills-quite funny. And the last center was musical chairs-Cam was the Champion!!! After all that chaos, it was time to eat. Heidi's husband had BBQ'd hot dogs and they were also munching down on chips and root beer floats. Wow, the noise was incredible with a table full of boys chanting "Root Beer Root Beer" at the top of their lungs. Man, it is a good thing I only had to bring one of those noisy ones home with me. By this time, there were just minutes to go till school was out so in they went to get their backpacks and other items. Us moms helped take down it all and put all the tables and chairs back in their places. A great time was had by all but so thankful its over!!!

Cam's End Of Year Party part 2 (date June 10th)

Bay's End Of Year Party part 1 (date June 10th)
Cards I made for special occasions
SO, here are a few cards I made for some special occasion we had coming up. The first one with the hot air balloons was for my grandma's birthday. The surfing Ian was for Bailey finishing 2nd grade with flying colors. The gaduation Riley was for Camden's kindergarten graduation and the last one with Circus Anya was for Taylor's 2nd birthday-Kac, just mailed her gift off.Just had to share..
Bays very early BDay party (real date June 6th)
We decided to celebrate Bay's birthday before school let out-his birthday always falls either the first week or first weekend school starts. That way, he could celebrate with the friends he has been in school with all year long-especially since this was his first year at Freedom. The boys (and girl) had a great time. They played in the little pool, did the slip-n-slide and used the water guns. Then afterwards, Dave BBQ'd hot dogs and we had baked beans, chips n dip, watermelon and kool-aid. They ate and played a little while longer in the water. Then it was time to come in and sing and eat cake and ice cream. Man, they totally pigged out on the cake-good, less for me to eat. Then Bay opened up his gifts from his buddies. His favorites were the 2 Transformers and the Star Wars legos. We originally had 9 RSVP and say they were coming but several did not show. We are thinking because it had rained the day before and the weather was only supposed to be 78. But those that came had a great time. I was afraid Bay would be sad that not everyone came but he was having so much fun, he did not even notice the missing friends. I thought the picture of them all on the couch turned out pretty good. We had John, Ryan, Stephano, Megan, Mason , and ofcourse Camden come. A good time was had by all!!!
Last Award Program (actual date June 5th)
Last friday was Bay's last award program for 2nd grade. Dave was able to come and he surprised Bay pretty good by being there and cheering him on. Bay received 3 awards. The first one was Fantastic Four's-for passing all 4 (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) math sheets within 3 minutes.Artist Of The Month-for the whole 2nd grade. And the last one he had no idea he was getting-Achievement Award-for getting straight A's all 4 quarters. He was just beaming when I took his picture. You could just tell how proud he was of himself. He should be, he did such a great job this year.Mommy, Daddy and brother are so proud of you Boo!!!
