Yesterday was Dave's 34th birthday so I woke up early and made a huge breakfast:funeral potatoes, eggs, sausage, and cinnamon rolls. Then, after Dave got home from work, we went out to eat (per his request) to Cool Hand Luke's for dinner. I was happy-no cooking and cleaning up....We both got steak-man, we only get steak maybe every couple years so this was quite a treat. It was so delicious. The boys were pretty good-they were being bribed with brownies if they were good.Afterwards, we came home and had brownie sundaes with ice cream. Delicious!!! Dave is not a cake person so he would rather have brownies-I don't get it. What's not to like with CAKE!!It should be its own food group.

Top Ramen?
Yesterday, Bay is looking in the cupboard for something to snack on-nothing new there. All of a sudden he says,"We have Top Ramen. I love Top Ramen. Alot of kids in my class bring it to school and they have shared it with me and I love it. Can I have some? I don't want it made with the hot water but just to open the bag and sprinkle the seasoning ontop and eat it. Please!!!" He went on and on and kept asking about it. SO we told him today for lunch, he could have some. Man, he was on a countdown to eat it.It was weird. He was like obsessed with it. So, he finally got to have it. Opened it up, sprinkled the seasoning ontop and then started eating. He did not finish. He said that this was not the one he had before because the seasoning was too spicy. I just had to laugh. All of that build up and then quite a letdown. I am glad thought. Top Ramen is so gross....
Sonic
Yesterday, we went to Sonic for the first time. We have never been there before and thought it would be something fun and different. The kids loved eating in the back and they thought it was so funny that they bring the food to your car and put it on the window. It is so great that they are so easily entertained. The food wasn't too bad-but I could have gone for a taco salad.
Funny Man
Friday morning Cam and I went to the scrapbook store to turn in my projects for the month and ofcourse to do a bit of looking. I love my local scrapbook store. So, we are looking at the new lines Basic Grey has out and there are some bright crazy prints in this collection. So I pull out an orange piece to match it to one of the printed ones, and Camden looks at me with a look of disgust on his face and says,"mom, you know that orange is not a very flattering color."I about peed my pants. SO we get to the counter with our goodies and he tells Janice (the owner) what he had said about the orange paper. She laughed so hard and they gave him some free stickers. He was so excited for the stickers. I think he needs some daddy time!!

Awards
I love the first picture. He is flashing me the I love you sign-how sweet is that!! Well, this afternoon was the second grade awards ceremony and Bailey received an award in math. He is so smart-love him so. I am so proud of him. He has accomplished so much this year. Every subject, he is either receiving an A or an A+. That is so amazing to me. He has so much energy but Mrs. Douglas is able to just keep him busy and focused-I am so going to miss her next year. She is an amazing teacher and we hope Camden gets her for second grade. The last picture is with his good friend Taylor-"mom, were just really good friends" he says when I ask if that is his girlfriend. She is a doll though. When I go thursdays to help in his class, Taylor always finds a reason to go back where I am and talk to me for a minute. I am just thrilled how well Bay is doing. How blessed we are to have a son like you sweetie. Love you tons and tons!!!

Cloud art
On the way to AWANA tonight, the boys were just looking up at the sky and admiring the clouds. The next thing I know, they are taking turns telling each other what they saw in the clouds. They had spotted the millenium falcon (Han Solo's ship) a baby sucking her thumb, an elephant with a diaper, a robot carrier and many different kinds of animals. They were actually getting along and enjoying each others company-which is a miracle because of all the bickering that has gone on lately. It was such a blessing listening to them get along and use their imagination. They kept asking me to play but I thought it was more important to pay attention to the road-I know, what a party pooper.

Easter pics=last one
We had such a great time at mom and dad's house yesterday. It was such a lovely Easter. The weather was absolutely gorgeous, the food was delicious and the company was priceless. We actually got to moms house about 6 on saturday evening. We met them at church to help set up for easter service and then they took us to Round Up Pizza-so fun to go to(I actually waitressed there for a while) Then we went back to mom's and got ready for bed and just enjoyed talking and relaxing. Camden kept coming out of the bedroom asking why I wasn't back there with them so I ended up going back a little after 10. Bay was sound asleep but Cam was still awake. Well, they woke up to gifts from the Easter Bunny. We got ready and went to church. So fun seeing the pastor and his wife and girls. They actually used to watch Bay when I had to work during the day. They are so sweet and adorable. Bay kept talking about the girls and if he could play with them real soon again.Afterwards, we dyed eggs and hardly made a mess-just fingers.Corinne and Camille came over for burgers and sweets. SO fun.My dad is the best BBQ guy-the burgers were to die for-even had crumbled dry blue ontop-Mmmmmm!!!!And mom made her famous sugar cookies-which we always fight over cause they are so good. We had a few egg hunts and then it was time to go. Such fun visiting and catching up. I love my family and feel so fortunate God chose them for me. What a match!!
